2011 World Telecommunications and Information Society Day (WTISD) Initiatives

Young IT Entrepreneur program Command Day Secondary School Ikeja – On June 2, 2011, Jidaw Systems Limited (Jidaw) trained students of Command Day Secondary School, Ikeja, Lagos on Information Technology (IT) Entrepreneurship as part of its efforts to mark the 2011 World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD). Jidaw Systems Limited has trained Grange School students at the First Ever Information Technology Entrepreneur program for Children. The unique event was held recently in Lagos, Nigeria. It can be described as a massive disruption of status quo. During the month of October 2010, Jidaw Systems Limited (Mastercomputers) partnered with Grange school to successfully conduct IT entrepreneurship training for several students of Grange school. Another program will take place for Command Day Secondary School in June 2011.
