Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) Ogun State Chapter will hold its 6th Edition of the Annual Information Technology Development Programme. The two-day IT Development programme is tagged “IT Diversity Perspectives for Global Impact” and will hold at the Bells University, Ota, Ogun State on 4th and 5th November, 2014.
The programme is for representatives of Computer Science/Information Technology students of all tertiary institutions in South West. The objectives of the programme are:
– To provide a platform for building and enhancing ICT skills, interests and attitudes among students of tertiary institutions in South West;
– To provide the needed medium of interaction between international organisations and students of tertiary institutions in South West;
– To provide the medium of interaction among the students of tertiary institutions in South West; and
– To provide a platform for encouraging institutions in South West to participate in national and international competitions such as Microsoft (Imagine Cup) competitions among others.
The Opening Ceremony holds 10a.m. on the 4th of Nov. 2014.
NCS drives IT development at the grassroots through state chapters in most states of the federation. The activities of NCS chapters highlight the commitment of the Nigeria’s leading IT professional association to building a knowledge driven society that is significantly technology enabled.
