Information Technology Association of Nigeria is inviting participation at the 19th World Congress on IT WCIT 2014 to be held in Guadalajara, Mexico from September 29th to October 1st, 2014. ITAN is working in conjunction with the World Information Technology & Services Alliance (WITSA).
According to ITAN’s release, “ITAN succeeded in bringing the Ministry and the Minister to participate at the last WCIT held in Canada and the Minister delivered a speech at this last conference. We are specifically requesting that you join us to attend the upcoming WCIT as Nigeria will be showcased again and our minister will deliver a speech”.
Interested? You can be part of the ITAN delegation which will exhibit under the Nigerian Pavilion. It is expected the participation of the Ministry and Government alongside Industry Stakeholders under the Nigerian umbrella will showcase Nigerian IT opportunities while at the same time boosting Nigeria’s image within the global IT community. WCIT is an international high level congress that brings together more than 50 exhibitors and up to 2,500 delegates from around 80 countries.
The invitation has gone out as a result of ITAN’s commitment to inform members and their organizations about all its local and global events. ITAN is inviting organizations to participate in large numbers and sponsor its key personnel to this important forum and event.
ITAN states that it has made arrangements for the pavilion and 50 participants for the seminar and conference. Organizations will be required to transport themselves and showcase their products under a paid for pavilion.
As ITAN National President, Engr. Mrs Florence Seriki (MFR) urges, “Let’s make Nigeria proud. Join us to go in large number and showcase the values Nigeria has to offer”.
