Computer Forensics Institute, Nigeria (CFIN) in collaboration with First Digital & Techno-Law Forensics Co. Ltd. (Conference Managers) is organizing the International Digital and Mobile Forensics Conference (TINAPA2014), with the theme, “Utilizing Digital and Mobile Forensics for an Effective National Security and High-Tech Crime Investigation”, from Tuesday – Friday, 25th to 28th November, 2014 at Tinapa, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria.
According to the release from the organizers, participants at the Conference will benefit in at least four ways:
First, they will learn how to use digital, mobile and computer forensics to tackle and prevent the menace of terrorism, insurgency and cyber-attacks in the West Africa sub-region.
Second, participants will learn how to acquire, extract and use electronic evidence in the investigation and prosecution of criminal and civil cases.
Third, participants will be able to have hands-on experience on some of the world’s best forensics equipment, software and tools at the conference.
Fourth, participants will be able to network with their peers and specialists in the field of cybersecurity, digital, mobile and computer forensics.
AIM OF THE CONFERENCE: The aim of this conference is to assist in the rapid development of capacity in digital, mobile and computer forensics, and cyber security.
