Information Technology Developers Entrepreneurship Accelerator (iDEA) Tinapa is inviting participants to its 3-Day NYSC Technology Boot Camp.
The event is put together in collaboration with Altramar Services Ltd as well as multinationals like Google, NOKIA and Microsoft who are technical partners.
According to the release from iDEA, the target audience for this event is Corps Members (Batch C) passing out in October. The event is scheduled to run from 3rd October, 2013 to 5th October, 2013.
The tech book camp aims to provide technical hands-on training to the corps members and software developers in the local community as well as educate corps members who have primarily only received university-based training till date.
Basic training will be offered in the following areas
- Microsoft Office Suite Applications
- Joomla! Web Development
- Microsoft Windows 8 Phone Development
- Computer Graphics and Image Editing
- Google Android Mobile Development
- Microsoft SQL and Visual Studio
A team of highly experienced trainers have been setup to provide quality training for the students in a highly conducive environment with broadband internet service to aid the learning experience. To incentivize attendees, there will be a contest on the final day where participants will individually compete for prizes.
