Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) has assembled a list of exceptional speakers who will speak straight to the issues during its 11th International Conference. It will hold from Wednesday 24 to Friday July 26, 2013 and take place at Royal Park Hotel, Iloko-Ijesa, State of Osun, Nigeria.

The bar was raised at the 3rd Kogi State Conference/ Annual General Meeting of Nigeria Computer Society.
The theme for this year conference is “Towards Developing ICT Standards for National
Transformation Agenda”. The conference took place at the Salem University Lokoja, Nigeria from Thursday 27th to Friday 28th, June 2013.
Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) is set to advance the cause of governance and security through technology at its upcoming Osun 2013 conference. Holding from Wednesday 24 to Friday 26, July 2013, the venue is the Royal Park Hotel (Opposite Olashore International School), Iloko-Ijesa, the State of Osun, Nigeria with the theme “e-Government and National Security”. Jidaw notes that NCS organizes conferences annually to advance the interests of its esteemed members, the IT profession and industry and the nation as a whole.
The Ministry of Communication Technology 2013 Mid-Term Review presentation at the Ministerial Platform by The Minister of Communication Technology, Mrs Omobola Johnson on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. In starting her presentation the Minister stated that the ministry was created in 2011 out of a recognition of the role of ICT in facilitating socio economic development for wealth and job creation as well as social development. Jidaw notes that the ministry was also created to concentrate all the main ICT agencies under one umbrella.
The Final Draft of the State of Osun’s ICT has been developed. It is now available online for further comments and inputs from stakeholders. The state is set to be one of the first in Nigeria to develop an ICT roadmap. Click the following link for the ICT Policy for the State of Osun Final Draft
