The 5th Annual Information Technology Development program of the Nigeria Computer Society Ogun State Chapter tagged “Enhancing IT Knowledge Capacity” takes place at Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State on 5th and 6th November, 2013 by 9am daily.
Chairman is Professor Charles K. Ayo, Vice Chancellor of Covenant University. Keynote address will be delivered by Mr. Niyi Yusuf, Managing Director, Accenture. The NCS Ogun State Chapter consistently organises an Information Technology (IT) development for representatives of Computer Science /Information Technology students of tertiary institutions in Ogun State.
Previous programme hosts are Babcock University, Bells University, FCE Osiele and Redeemers University.
The objectives of the programme are:
- To provide a platform for building and enhancing software skills, interests and attitudes among students of tertiary institutions in Ogun State.
- To provide interaction between international organisations and students of tertiary institutions in Ogun State.
- To provide the medium for interaction among the students of tertiary institutions in Ogun State.
- To provide a platform for encouraging institutions in Ogun State to participate in national and international competitions such as Microsoft competitions.
