Interest and participation was extremely high this year. And competition was intense. In achieving this success it is important to commend and appreciate the efforts of all students that participated (they are all winners), the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), the NCS 16th National Executive Council, Members of the NCS Education and Manpower Development Committee, State and Zonal Coordinators, State Governments, School Authorities, the NCS secretariat, NCS membership and the general public.
It is essential that we all continue to support initiatives of this nature that will help the children and young people of Nigeria create their future and fulfill their potential with information technology. If you believe children are the future, do you respect them, do you celebrate them, do you give them a sense that they are the future?
Through the IT competitions NCS is generating interest in IT amongst students – the Nigeria Computer Society is creating the future and empowering the next generation. As the professional body shaping the future of IT and promoting IT for development, NCS continually employs IT and IT enabled initiatives to show its deep commitment to the future of Nigeria. But NCS needs you and I. We must all join, support and partner with NCS to create the next generation.
